Fazaclo (Clozapine)
Fazaclo (Clozapine) is an orally disintegrating tablet that was approved in early
February-2004 for the treatment of Schizophrenia. Fazaclo is specially suited
for the treatment and management of severely ill schizophrenic patients because
it dissolves quickly in the mouth, without the need for water or chewing.
How exactly does Fazaclo work?
It is an antipsychotic medication and works by changing the actions of chemicals
in the brain. As said above, it is used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia
including hallucinations, delusions, and confusion, but Because Fazaclo may
cause some serious side effects, treatment is usually reserved for people who
have not responded well to other medications.
