Prozac Side Effects

Before you pop online to buy Prozac, like most other drugs, their are potential side effects that may result from using Prozac. Below we've outline some of the more common Prozac side effects, as well as some of the not so common ones. Common Side Effects
Abnormal dreams, nausea, nervousness, vomiting, weakness, rash, abnormal ejaculation, abnormal vision, anxiety, diminished sex drive, dizziness, dry mouth, flu-like symptoms, flushing, gas, loss of appetite, sinusitis, sleepiness, sore throat, sweating, tremors, upset stomach, headache, impotence, insomnia, itching, yawning.

Less Common Side Effects
Abnormal taste, bleeding problems, chills, agitation, loss of memory, palpitations, ringing in the ears, confusion, ear pain, emotional instability, fever, frequent urination, sleep disorders, high blood pressure, increased appetite, weight gain.

Other important information that is related to side effects

• If you are sensitive to or have ever had an allergic reaction of some sort to Prozac or drugs of the same type such as Paxil and Zoloft, you should not take this medication. Ensure that your doctor is aware of any drug reactions that you have experienced in the past
  
• Prozac may cause drowsiness or lower the patient's level of alertness, thus possibly affecting their judgement. Thus it is not recommended that persons who take Prozac do any driving, operate dangerous machinery or participate in any potentially hazardous activities that require full mental alertness
  
• When taking Prozac, you may feel dizzy or light-headed or actually faint when getting up from a sitting or lying position. If getting up slowly doesn't help or if this problem persists, let your doctor know.
  
• If you develop hives or a skin rash while taking Prozac, stop using it immediately and notify your doctor immediately

Be careful of Prozac's interactions with other drugs / substances

• Combining Prozac with MAO inhibitors (e.g. Nardil and Parnate) is very dangerous
• Never drink alcohol while taking Prozac
